Chelsea out of the Champions League

Chelsea are now out of the Champions league, despite beating Nordsjaelland 6-1 in Stamford Bridge. Chelsea needed a win but they also needed Shakhtar Donetsk to beat Juventus to get enough points to go through to the last 16 of the Champions League knockout stages.

Di Matteo Sacked

Chelsea have confirmed that Roberto Di Matteo have been sacked. He is the clubs 8th manager sacked since Roman Abramovich took over the club in 2003 RDM guided the club to a first Champions League victory and FA Cup victory just 6 months ago. Chelsea’s Top 4 Hope Is Unlikely

Chelsea could not keep their hopes alive of securing a top 4 finish in the Premier League after last Tuesdays game against Newcastle, in which they lost 0-2 at home, this means that they will have to win the Champions League against Bayern Munich to be able to qualify for next seasons Champions League. Both [...]

Barcelona vs Chelsea Champions League Semi-Final Second Leg

Chelsea beat Barcelona 1-0 at Stamford bridge against Barcelona, one of the top clubs in Europe. In my previous article about the first leg, I got my predictions right, Barcelona were favourites to win but Chelsea proved the bookmakers wrong by performing a great display. Chelsea’s defended well and their counter attack was perfect. [...]
